Starting school is a big step, for children and for parents.

This webinar will help calm your nerves and ensure you know what 'ready for school' really means, as it's not just getting school uniform and labelling it!

Now most of you know which school your child is going to, the questions shift and the worries grow:

  • Will my child be ready?

  • Will they make friends?

  • What can I actually do between now and September that will help them smash it?

This live parent session is designed to give you clarity, confidence, and practical, realistic, fun ideas

you can use with your child straight away, without pressure or unrealistic expectations.

Watch on replay till Monday 11th, 9pm

👀 What this live session will cover:

This is not a checklist or a rush to "get them ready". It's about understanding what really supports children as they move into school, and turning that into simple things you can do at home.

👉What helps them feel secure with new adults, spaces and routines
👉Simple ways to support a smooth, calm start

Communication, independence and early foundations

👉 The everyday skills children use all day in school
👉 How these can be developed naturally through home life
👉 What really makes a difference over time

Friendships, play and social confidence

👉 What’s normal, and what develops gradually
👉 How children build confidence in group situations

Everyday routines and practical preparation

The summer term and what to focus on next

👉 What to do now, what can wait, and what matters most
👉 How to approach the time between visits and starting school
👉 A calm, manageable way to prepare over the coming months

Throughout the session, I'll share practical, often playful ideas you can try with your child,

so you leave knowing not just what matters, but how to support it.

What happens after the session:

This live session also introduces my longer programme, "Ready, Steady, School!" which supports families from now through to starting school in September.

The programme is optional. The live session stands on it's own and will be extremely useful whether you choose to join the programme or not.

Towards the end of the session, I'll briefly explain:

  • Who the programme is for

  • How it works across the months ahead

  • How to decide whether it's a good fit for your family

    There's no pressure to join.

I can’t wait to support you!
